CREST Awards Covid-19

The CREST Awards scheme's response to COVID-19 outbreak

The British Science Association is closely monitoring the situation surrounding COVID-19 and how it will affect our work. We are committed to following the latest advice from Government and health officials.

The CREST Awards scheme remains unchanged, with a wealth of Awards-qualifying activities free and available on the CREST website. Teachers and parents are also still able to apply for CREST certificates online for students who have fulfilled the Awards criteria.

The activities are a great opportunity to introduce students to science from the convenience of their homes. They are also a great chance for parents to showcase everyday science without the formal setting of a classroom.

Unfortunately due to ongoing circumstances, we are currently only able to accept Star and SuperStar orders with a minimum value of £5. This means that purchase orders below this amount will either be readjusted towards a £5 total, or refunded.

Also, please note that we will be unable to process cheque payments until we are back in the office.
