            Known issue: problems registering on Internet Explorer

            Some users have reported that they can’t activate their account when using internet Explorer.

            Once they’ve confirmed their account, they try to log in, but get a message saying their account hasn’t been activated:

            Our developers have confirmed this is a fault and are investigating. 

            In the meantime, if you’re affected by this issue you might find it easier to use the Chrome or Firefox browsers.
