            FAQ 8 - How does the CREST assessment process work?

            Star/Superstar awards are assessed by the facilitator. You or another educator assess your students’ involvement. If you feel that your students have sufficiently taken part in eight challenges then they will have achieved their Award. You do not need to upload any evidence of work to our online platform but you are required to record the eight challenges your students completed. 

            Bronze/Discovery projects are assessed by the facilitator. You or another educator assess your students’ work against the CREST requirements. You can read more about how the assessment process works and the student work you will need to upload in the following help-notes:

            Silver/Gold projects are assessed by our online assessors who are specialists in their chosen fields. You can read more about how the assessment process works and the project work you will need to upload to our online platform in the following help-notes:

            2. How are Gold projects assessed?
